The activities of TCP Sistemas e Ingeniería in the aerospace sector started since the company’s origin in 1993. These activities were focused in the field of tele-operation and remote control for scientific payloads in space missions.

In year 2000 the Division of Aerospace Systems was formally constituted. A group of experts in ground station Monitoring and Control (M&C) systems joined this division, as well as expert in real-time and safety critical systems for the aerospace industry.

Since than, TCP’s Aerospace Systems Division has been reaching a significant expertise in different areas related to embedded software systems development and, specifically, in software testing and certification of critical software according to the standard RTCA/DO-178B.
