On-Board Real-Time Software
TCPSI provides an extensive experience in development, validating and integrating on-board real-time software, following all the phases of the life-cycle: requirement engineering, architecture design, implementation, integration in HW (simulation and final targets) and verification and validation.
We cover all the phases stemming from the design, real-time embedded software development, SW integration in simulation and final platforms, and unitary and systems tests. TCPSI solutions are selected to be validated in international scientific campaigns.
TCPSI embeds RT SW on a variety of environments: from OB SW for Space missions, to control SW for Space instruments; flight control systems for
terrestrial and aerial autonomous vehicles; and ground applications requiring RT operations SW.
A successful use case of control systems are our solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles, based on a continuous R&D activities.
TCPsi also participates in critical test benches development and integration for satellite missions. We are present in the costumer facilities supporting the development activities. Among our main responsibilities we can highlight the following: simulator development, integration activities for virtual environments, development of communication modules for instrumentation and other subsystems of the satellite, integration tests of the sub-systems (communications, data handling sub-systems, avionics sub-systems, instrumentation simulators/emulators...), instrumentation simulators/emulators development and integration.
