Software Engineering Laboratory
Our commitment with our customers and the high quality of our solutions makes us to be involved continuously on development projects of innovative methodologies in the field of Software Engineering.
This research allows us to improve our development, production and deployment processes in the scope of critical embedded software. The direct applicability of these techniques falls directly on the co-design and co-simulation HW-SW.
Mainly, in this laboratory we experiment with new tools like TOPCASED, other Eclipse-based frameworks, model verification tools, model validation tools in terms of schedulability, power consumption, etc.
In addition, the Model Driven Engineering is the main aim by applying innovative technologies like UML MARTE, AADL, and PPOOA to our current models and merging them with Agile methods for SW production improvement.
TCPsi has a wide experience in the field of functional design tools and methodologies (Yourdon DFDs, CORE), and object oriented programming in the phases of requirements analysis and architecture design (real-time UML, HRT-HOOD, AADL).
It is worthy to note the success cases of the SPICES project, and our current involvement on iFEST project.
